What is happening with the Atlantic luxury condo tower in Atlantic Station? I get this question a lot as people stare up at its beautiful 46-story facade.
The short story is that the bank which held the leverage on the building was taken over by the FDIC some months ago.
The FDIC has sold the building to an investor group who have plans to slash prices from their current lofty perch down to a reasonable level for todays market.
I expect that the Atlantic may be the hottest selling tower in Midtown Atlanta once these price changes happen, and my sources tell me that will be very soon.
